Hello all..

    Recently on the Mompreneurs posts I caught on to a thread that asked what you were supposed to put in a pitch letter to a magazine.  I read along and found out that I have been doing everything wrong.  Well not everything but I think a lot of things. 

   Like, I had no idea that you could call up the magazine and ask who you would send X blanket to and that you needed a media kit and for good measure a press release. I can’t tell you how many pitches I have made to magazines pitching to the wrong person, and doing a poor job compared to what they must be seeing.

  This upset me for quite a while, until I remembered…I am learning.  Though I may not have done a great job with this in the past thank goodness for the people at Mompreneur.com.  I am glad that I have found a network of women (and men) that we can share ideas and information that will help us all. 

   Have you ever thought you were doing something pretty well, and found out later that this is not the way things are done?  If you have let me know, I would love to hear about it.
