This post spoke to me in particular. I have two boys, in June they will be 7 and 2 years of age. We always made great money traveling with construction so I didn't need to work. Then my husband took a job at his company's home office. He took a drastic cut in pay. Then moving expenses sank in, deposits again on every little thing and our son almost died from pneumonia. My husband needed help so as soon as our oldest was off of the IV meds and back in school I started hunting for a job. More than anything I've always wanted to work from home and take care of my kids. I just can't come up with an idea that doesn't cost every penny we have, something I don't have to borrow even MORE money from someone to start up, something real. I know there is something out there. There is something out there for moms, men and women who want to stay home and work. I feel like there is a new interesting idea that can really make waves but I can't come up with it. I get depressed, I moan and groan, I intend to call a list of people daily about hiring me to do ANYTHING yet I procrastinate. I've not met people who work from home and make it work. I realize they are out there but everything I've put my heart and money into has failed. I want to get off my bootie! I want to stand up and pay bills and one day go on a vacation that doesn't break us for months afterward. I need friends, friends who have gone through this and can tell me "Get Off Your Bootie"!
