Hello my name is Maria and here with my five yr old autistic son. This past year has been a great test to both of us and our family. We have eight children and since 2003 I been fighting cancer. Three different typesfirst cervical, next breast and last mouth. Since I only had one breast removed now Dr.is stating I will neef to remove the other. I am honestly wanting to give up but everyday my lil partner next to me keeps me alive and needed. Thar is why im here I want to start a small business so Andrew and I can feel important and want to help others. I want to join into as many organizations and volunteer ourselves to anyone. We like to be outdoors and we love mother nature. I found a website called kitsylane jewelry and im making commission. Just started I would like if someone can tell me if that is a good business. My website .Thank You

Welcome to our site. So glad you have found us. We are so sorry to hear about your health issues. We have several mompreneurs in our community who have battled various types of cancer and won! If you are in the midst of treatment, perhaps the best type of business is something that is easy to scale up and down. You mentioned direct sales. We are not familiar with that particular business, but we do know many moms get involved in direct sales as a way to bring some income into the home. Here's an article I wrote about direct sales for Family Circle. http://www.familycircle.com/family-fun/ ... ect-sales/

You may also find these other articles helpful too.

Please keep us posted on your health and your progress. Hopefully some of our other inspirational moms will be sharing their advice too.

Ellen
