School is out--or about to be--in most parts of the country. How do you balance work and family demands when you can't work around the kids' schedules? Do you find alternate activities/child care? Do you just wing it and hope for the best? Let's hear your solutions!

I usually just wing it, but my husband wants to put our 12 year old into summer school, which means pick up and drop off for me. This could get tricky since I run two businesses that keeps me very busy. I'm always on call, designing or sewing. I don't want to think about it :( but he would not leave it alone     all in one. Love my kids, but all i can see is more work, god help me
