Does anyone have any secrets to share about getting extra financing in this crazy economy? I have a very tight budget, as does everyone. The numbers are looking good, but I feel like I need a little extra cushion.

I highly recommend going to your local women's business center, small business development center, or SCORE--all of these resources are often aware of small grants/loans available. Also, check out count-me-in.org

Yes, purse strings are tight now...but there are small pockets of money out there...It takes a lot of digging to find it though...

Studies show that the majority of moms still fund their bizzes through credit cards and personal savings...Not that I'm saying that's a good thing...but it does seem to be a Mompreneur fact of life....
