I am so excited to be here! I registered with this site about 8 years ago and was inspired to be like all of you - a mompreneur. I am a teacher working 2 days a week, but have started an online jewelry business so I can eventually resign from my position and work from home.
I have a question - the company I have applied to for credit card processing has just told me they want to know what I plan to do to protect myself against fraud and chargebacks. Should I have insurance for this? Is that the answer they want? As well, is it common for them to place a rolling reserve (5%) on these type of merchant accounts?
Thanks for your time. I look forward to being part of this community again (but this time with a business!).
