I recently updated much to do with my business including my wordpress website/blog. I had it set up with one domain and hosting. But now I have a new domain. I would like to get the hosting switched from the old domain to the new and have the old domain forward to the new.
Right now it is the opposite. The hosting is set up with the old domain and the new is forwarded.
The designer that created my website doesn't know how to do it and is afraid of losing the site.
If you know how to do this WITHOUT losing my site I would love to talk to you.

There are 2 ways you can do it:
1. Moving your entire website to a new domain and use a 301 redirect from your old domain to the new one. Also use the Google Webmaster Tools to "tell" Google you have relocate your website.
2. You can just move your website to the new servers of the new hosting providers and stay at the same domain name. You should contact your new hosting service to help you do it with this option.
