The Mompreneurs attended the Super Mom Entrepreneurs conference this past weekend in New York City and came back so inspired! Ellen and I met some wonderful, passionate and talented work-from-home moms who are running incredible businesses. We all love our online community and social networks for keeping in touch, supporting each other and sharing tips and ideas, but face-to-face interaction is so motivating! We networked with many young mothers who are so enthusiastic about starting and running their own businesses so they can better balance work and family. The Mompreneur movement is alive and stronger than ever! Here are some of the moms we met:

Going to a one-day conference is invigorating, but there are other ways you can experience the benefits of face-to-face networking.
•Join a woman’s entrepreneurial group through the National Association of Women Business Owners or a similar organization. Get on a committee to make it really worthwhile.
•Gather other mom entrepreneurs in your community and arrange monthly or bi-monthly breakfast, lunch, dinner or even coffee get-togethers.
•Through MeetUp.com, find like-minded businesswomen in your area and hold regular meetups.
•Join the Chamber of Commerce. Even if you have a home business, you can go to Chamber of Commerce meetings to network with other local business people
It feels good to connect and your business will benefit!
